Jack’s Prime Burgers and Shakes
The best burger joint on the Peninsula! It’s a bit pricey for a burger, but wow it’s pretty damn good. Burgers are cooked to order on their grill. They use 1/3 lbs Angus beef patties that are juicy and delicious. You can also sub a turkey patty if you like. They offer several buns, like their classic dense burger bun, whole wheat, or sourdough and rye bread. You can get fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, or a side salad with your burger. And they offer a full bar and hand made milk shakes. In all you will walk out of Jack’s with a very full stomach for only about $10 a plate.
I think I like the Angry Cowboy the best with the jalapeno relish and bbq sauce, but they are all really good! The Jack’s Prime Classic Cheese Burger is all that a sane person really needs, but if you’re feeling super hungry you can order the Big Jack -a huge double bacon cheeseburger with all the fixings. I made the mistake of ordering this for myself once, I’m sure glad my hubby was there to finish it for me 🙂
The Ultimate Bacon is a bacon lover’s paradise with Bacon in the burger, bacon on the burger, and bacon in the mayo. We also tried the chilli cheese fries, that’s some excellent chilli, I could just go and eat that -though I think it may be seasonal. The side salad is awesome and the onion rings are in a great sweet beer batter. And they probably have the best ranch dressing for their salad and rings ever -make sure you try it! Overall, all the food is great, we’ve left very full and satisfied with both the food and service every time!
We just want to give a big shout out to Jack’s Prime for providing amazing food and service. We think local restaurants deserve recognition for being the best at what they do. Thanks, and keep Cookin’ Up awesome food!
